282 8mm lift cams

Any information on these cams I have I believe they are ivan tighe 282 cams with 8mm lift they have never been used. Planning running around 350bhp on a 5e so just wondering if these are worth the head work and any advantages etc?

then you wont regret it ha ha i hope you are going past stock limiter to make full potential out of them ??

Not 100% on management yet. Currently got a dastek unichip in the car at 200bhp and I've read this ecu can cope with over 300 so might stick with it but not sure if it allows to extend the limiter?

depending what bhp your aiming for Might be worth reconsidering your management system. Once your on the dyno you can get the data you need to decide where you should limit your rpm.

Wanting 350bhp roughly. Had a read that tmd built a few 300bhp starlets running the dastek unichip. It's either keep that or save for standalone. I was looking at the dta ecus

Ecumaster emu for that power with big cams. You can adjust injection angle which would help if you end up with large overlap

How does the ecumasters emu wire into the starlet I'm guessing it won't be plug and play?
