wakeabby14
I have heard on forums and from people in the past that it is a good idea to flush a new intercooler if it is a cheap one to get rid on any machine residue or any metal filings from the intercooler to prevent anything going back into the engine and causing damage. Can anyone give me some tips or confirm this to prevent any of this if this is the case new to the modding scene and learning a long the way all input will help. Thanks josh Edited September 1, 2016 by wakeabby14
5e colin
aircompressor and blow it out as a flush will stick most of it on the metal

wickedep
as colin suggested you could give it a blast with the air compressor and also close one end up...fill it with some petrol (and then close the other end)..give it a good shake and then drain the petrol..repeat as needed. you'd be surprised how much muck comes out sometimes :/
funny onion
blasted mine out with an airline, couldn't believe how mush metal filings and crap came out of it. never thought of flushing with petrol but it will consider that in future!
