Well ive wanted to get into some kind of motorsport for ages now, and decided on rallying.

does anyone know about amateaur rally? cars, mods, where?

how much money do you have? you can buy an M-sport focus for about £250k if you like? the thing with motorsport is it requires alot of money to fund it, your probably better off doing go karting or something as that would only take up 10-20k a year. Rally cross is a possibility but again, lots of money required. What i was thinking of doing is like super hatch or something like that in a 106xsi, that could possibly cost you less than 10k a year to do which is pretty reasonable.

My dad used to do it and taught me some stuff in my fields. It was one of the most fun things ive done.

any type of motorsport costs LOTS of money, youll break shit ALOT. and you know how gay it is when something goes wrong on the starbo... well do that once a week.

i've spoken to guys who rally in amateur form, and the last time i checked, it was bucks.

tens of thousands of pounds a year, even for basic stuff.

track days are UBES fun! and if your careful enough u shouldnt wreck much more than the brakes!

My dad used to do that in a £100 Sierra XR4x4 which was cheap to repair and performed pretty well etc

If you want to get into rallying thats where to start

My uncle is into stage rallying and me and my dad are going to get into it when we find a decent project car

But thats big money, my uncle has spent close on £50k on his Mark 2 Escort already
