nic1.3
i may well never lok like new again but maybe try sum very fine wet and dry sand paper and give it a savage sanding with this and then use sum light abrasive polish like autoglym paint renovator..... it mite help..... dobbs
hi there. i would recomend maguires plastix.its great on light scuffs and discoloring on lenses. rub down the affected area with some 1000 grit paper, if its not working, start with a 320 grit, then work your way up 320 - 500 - 800 - 1000 overlapping the area each time. then the plastix should polish it up a treat.it will take alot of elbow grease to polish it up, but it will be worth it. alternativly you could use a machine polisher... IF your carefull.HTH ;)
Tahiti
as above!Brother's used it on his Elise headlight covers and they were greatly improved.
StarletRick
just polish the shit out of them with cutting compound. youll sweat like a whore, but theyll come up nice and you wont need to sand them down.
starlybruiser
well i tried 3g cutting compound and it has helped a bit but i didnt have much time to stick at it, but hopefully it will clean up, if not then i will try that plastix stuff, thanks for the help guys
StarletRick
the 3g will work youll just have to put a good 15 mins into the light to get it done nice. once youve done it once youll be ok with a 2 minute buff up when you wash it.
