ave any of use updated your engines for your n/a?

say if i wanted to get the glanza engine or the seo engine were could you find it a scrapy yard or sumthing?

Find one off a car that someone is breaking, one that's been in a crash or something but the engine is still fine.

I've also seen a few 4EFTE's on ebay recently.

Just make sure they're not burning oil or making any funny noises that they're not supposed to.

to answer your question YES u can put in abigger engine but there are several things to consider

cost- the more mental engine that u want to put in more the more u gotta pay

handling/braking- fitting a huge heavy engine will mess up the weight of the front end so will require work in the handling and brakes

insurance engine swap = mega insurance cost

engine bay size- u only got so much usable space under the hood

now for what u can fit with the easiest first

5efe

5efhe

4efte/5efte

4age whatever version u want

the MR2 engine i cant remember the mane

Swaps I've seen are

5efe (1.5 from Toyota Paseo)

4efte (1.3 turbo from the Starlet Turbos)

'5efte' (a hyrbid of the above engines, making a 1.5 turbo)

4age 20v (from the Toyota Levin/Treuno, fair bit of work for this swap though)

3sgte (a LOT of work to do this swap though)

sorry mikey dude

from that list i would go for a 5efe personally as it just an updated 4e with greater displacement.

i hope to fit one in a year or 2 and build it to crazy power..

but if u want to be fast and poor be creative.......

As said above mate. You'll have to upgrade your braking and handling mods aswell.

No point increasing the ponies if you cant slow the fcuk down...

There's a few of us on here thats done conversions but its alot of money lad. Im still adding bits and mine is done for 2yrs now...
