valentino
Okay, so basically I haven’t posted in a couple of weeks and am sure you guys haven’t missed me! But I was just wondering...is anyone here a car review journalist? I’ve been writing reviews for cars as well as gadgets for quite a long time. Since I was about 14 years old and wanted to get the ball rolling. Getting recognised is my main goal and I was just wondering if anyone on the forum is a journalist? Below - Is my quick review of the SportCoupé Bocanegra - Tell me what you think be honest thats the only way i can improve! What a concept! Okay it’s not the most outrageous out there, but the simpler approach gives us mere mortals some kind of faith they’ll produce this beauty. The features I’d like to see if they do manufacture this. To begin with, on the exterior note they definitely need to keep those lights! They challenge you for a scrap every time you have a glimpse at them. Imagine parking this car, the cars would literally leap out the way for it, GREAT parking for days, and for those pesky burglars they wouldn’t dare touch it with a barge pole! The outlines of the car are great and defiantly are becoming a SEAT trend. But what truly attracts me to this car is the interior, I worship those seats and the minimalist dash really makes it feel special the black luxurious piano effect is brilliant, we really don’t need those pilot functions thank you very much. The only thing that would let this baby down is, if the engineers make it sound like a wet fart, let’s cross our fingers and hope it also sounds like a demon and goes like a bat out of hell. A true villain’s car, now let’s just hope to see it rolling off the production line as close to the concept as possible. A message to SEAT don’t let them accountants get in the way, yeah so what if it’ll cost a few pounds over budget! It’ll seriously step SEAT’s game to a whole new level. Dare I say it? If production happens it’ll be better looking than the Astra VRX coupe!Valentino Rattan!
Tommy_G
good stuff, have you applied for apprenticships at magazines? id imagine that would be a great way to get an insight into journalism, do you write for a local paper? thats how old jezza started
valentino
Thanks for the compliment and thanks for reading it too, itâ??s much appreciated. Iâ??ve contacted Mark Guest from modifying guruâ??s Max Power with various articles and am in general waiting for a reply. I havenâ??t applied for any apprenticeships, partly because Iâ??m completing my A-levels. I donâ??t write for anyone at the moment, but thanks for the idea about the local paper! I never really thought about that itâ??s something I should be looking into defiantly. Is ''Jezza'' still around on the forum? Iâ??d love to read a few his reviews. To Others - Please Read - Its Much Appreciated! ;)
SiCaln
think he means Jeremy Clarkson, he trained as a journalist with the Rotherham Advertiser
Guest Enzo
bro good read, ive fancied my journalism skills with some features i have for the site but my spelling, grammer and english sucks!would you be interested in doing some feature writeups on eps for the site to practice your skillz?
valentino
;) Oh! I really thought there was someone on here called Jezza, yeah good ole Jeremy Clarkson. He is one unique reviewer almost certainly the best in my opinion. Enzo, that would be great I wouldnâ??t mind writing some reviews for the forum at all. What did you have in mind? gaz
Good stuff mate, I think this bit needs to be revised though? it needs a comma or an 'and'. probably just an accident."I worship those seats and the minimalist dash really makes it feel special the black luxurious piano effect is brilliant"I was gonna say, do something for the site. Like an event review or something.

StarletRick
sounds liek a good plan having some reviews/features of some of the more notable cars on here. when is the site going live geo. i cant wait any longer, lol.
Guest Enzo
im not sure rick, my html/flash skills are improving by the day so im finding myself always adding to the site and constantly changing and redoing pages alsowhat i will say is that im gona build up the media, clothing, events sections before launching the technical site which is just waiting to go. its definatly not long now !this should lift extreem ep from the mantle of just being like all the other club/forums to an actual premier site/club, like the likes of scoobynet and mlr, hopefully it will be worth it. it would be alot easyier if we had a few staff writers

Bluebear
I quite liked the review Valentino! Seemed a tad short and not very in-depth though, but i suspect that might be something to do with being a concept?Enzo: I don't mind helping out a bit, I know some HTML/CSS, and a little bit of Photoshop (I did Idrees and RossSR's sigs if you're wondering). Don't mind helping out with writing too Enzo.Sorry for the hijack Valentino!
valentino
Itâ??s no problem, bluebear. Am pleased you like the review, yeah itâ??s short mainly due to SEAT not releasing any engine spec data to my knowledge, because it is a only a concept. I tried to get the reader involved and wanting them to create this rather then slapping spec down! Trying some other ways for the reader! Thanks P.S! The Glanza Review Completed! Will post later today
