Galen Posted May 2, 2012 Author Posted May 2, 2012 Finally got around to fitting the Whiteline rear ARB thats been in the shed the last 2years!!And it was also in need of some new tyres so got onto Camskill and got 2 TOYO Proxes T1R delivered for €104. Ordered them sunday and they arrived Tuesday evening, very happy with that, be getting my tyres from there anymore.Also had a Cusco underbrace in the shed that I took off the car before as it used to hit the exhaust but got it sorted.So this morning this is what was waiting to be fittedSo out to one of the lads and we got stuck inOne side bolted upVery happy with the ARB, didnt drive the car a whole lot yet but you can really notice the difference it makes. Car seems to turn in a lot quicker and easier and the back end just feels stiffer and more stable. Really changes the handling of the car, a very worthwhile mod! Quote

Galen Posted April 15, 2013 Author Posted April 15, 2013 Car was mapped yesterday!Up with Chris Carson in Crossgar, was a fair oul spin up and down but well worth it. Ecu wired in and then out for a bit of road mapping, great craic ha! I need new break pads after it though, they were already bad but he just finished them off today!Got her mapped for 1 bar though, goes well apart from a slight miss, needs new plugs, should of changed them before hand really.Oh and road mapping is thirsty work, could nearly see the needle dropping!! Galen Posted April 28, 2013 Author Posted April 28, 2013 (edited) Picked up a few more bits this week, it never ends with these cars ha!Got some levin twinpot calipers, just have to get discs and longer wheel studs and I'll get them fitted, will finally have good brakes then haSpotted this on donedeal last night and had to have it, for the money it was going for I couldnt leave it there.It's a genuine Varis carbon fibre bonnet with water tray. Love the aggresive look they give to the front of a Glanza. Unfortunately it has been painted black and the paint is fairly flat and dead looking so will need a respray before fitting. Would love to bring it back to the carbon if its possible.had horrible bonnet pins too so I'll invest in some aerocatch ones to tidy the look up. Edited April 28, 2013 by Galen Quote
