Newbie here, getting EP91 soon

Recommended Posts

hi mate welcome to the uksc,

that glanza does look good sitting there all standard ready to get molested lol.

you need to get the breething sorted out with an exhaust and filter upgrade,

after that id recomend an emanage piggy back ecu, hks actuater, boost gauge and decat,

this little lot should give you an extra 30-40+bhp hike

hope that helps mate )

Lol @ Enzo, yeah dude soon it will get molested, just need to know where to get all that you just mentioned, is there any links that sell Glanza modz? I seen few with front mount intercoolers, does this help at all? Also seen one he put turbo from GT4 Celica :p

Thanks again

try www.starletgtturbo.co.uk

they have pretty much everything covered, actuaters etc

ebay for boost gauges

or www.autofixed.co.uk, they make intercoolers, decats, exhausts and what not for the starlet.

if you added a front mount to that mix along with an uprated exhuast manifold, somewhere around 195bhp at the fly is achievable.

not sure where the gt4 turbo bit came from, the subaru td04 conversion is the usual route, but yes she looks good mate very standard and very clean, the way toyota intended

first mods should really be suspension and brakes before you do anything, wheels and good tyres would be worth a look too.

power is no good unless you can keep em on the road. :p

good luck mate.

Welcome to UKSC...

I totally agree with ecksjay, Power is nothing without control!

So get some performance suspension and some lightweight wheels.

Then brakes, and at last some engine bits, hehe....

Thanks guys

I know that my first mods will be coilovers and BuddyClub or Rota wheels, with Yokos then engine mods to follow. Just wanted to have an idea how much power is available from that engine.

Cheers

you got the idea mate :p

I got Rotas and D2 coilovers and what a difference in handling and looks

Should be able to get 250hp without loosing much reliablity but I've see 350+

Yep that's a good price -- I've been starting to think that I've been bumped lately with the number of Glanza's I've seen advertised at £3500 :p

Then for suspension and wheels you're talking £1200, but then I've still been bumped at that
