Amjad
When I was about 5 I used to walk home from school, passing a mint Red AW11 MR2 everyday and I just fell in love with it! Also growing up in Yorkshire used to see Jap cars all the time which got me further obsessed; AE86s, Corolla Gtis etc

claire
My Dad! When I was little he would be under a car tinkering and I would be there being a pain in the ass asking:What ya doing? What does that do?Why are you doing that?:-)and so on...and then I would try and help...usually by pressing the pedels passing tools!Me and Dad would go to car events with my Cuz and Uncle! Then I met my Fiance who had a boi'd up pug 306 we sold that and bought a GT4and then we started to go to Motor Sport events and Car shows...Le Mans 24hr, Touring cars, Sunseeker Rally, Japfest....And then I got a pug 306 (Which turned out to be a bag of poo!) Dave (my Fiance) said that I had to buy a Jap Car next and then he went out and bought me Patrick, my little Starlet. Which I love.Well thats my story! It's good to read everyone elses stories.Claire x

Galliano
My main car passion has come from my mum (mainly as I have never met my dad..) and mum used to work for White Bros Ford parts delivery service. Used to travel the UK delivering cars/parts etc. Also worked for Taunton Volvo back in the day.Mainly my love for cars came from her, being taken about in a Ford Escort XR3i in the bluey grey, twin swept 5 spoke alloys and the spotlamps on the front. Before that it was a bog standard silver Escort from the late 80's, and a black xr3i before that. Then previous to that it was various Capri's, Cortina's, Mini's etc etc.In 1999 my auntie purchased a Paseo... I first thought "Eugh Toyota" and then.. a week in... I loved it! durmz
im a weird one, im a petrol head of my own accord, my dad, mum, grandparents hated that sorta stuff apart from one, my nan used to do banger racing, but that was before my time. so maybe she passed it on to me, maybe not.ever since i was 12 i wanted to be a pilot, and at that age I started karting, only at raleigh indoor centre, but got a license there to use there faster karts and did race nights etc, I broke there lap record once but it was only on a practice so didnt count lol.and now i hold an airline transport pilots license and am obsessed with cars and planes
BlackRocket
Mine has to be my dad. He was a mechanic so we always had car in bits and he was always asking me to help by utilising my small hands to reach inaccessible bits of engines! He used to rally prep cars so I'd always be helping with stuff like that and got addicted to petrol fumes and the sound of a powerful lumpy idle lol! I also live out it the country so at the age of 9 my dad bought me a fiesta RS Turbo to fly around in in the fields and that's effectively how I learned to drive! I used to be heavily into Vauxhalls and had all manor of cars starting with a 1300 rally prep'd nova, a nova GTE on ITB's, a Mantzel/ Coscast Corsa B SRi then a Corsa C. I always had car posters on my wall from being a wee nipper - I'm sure my dad used to put them up for his enjoyment with the excuse of "My son will like cars!!"Steve
