I Went To Check A Few Parts At Toyota Which Was A Fail..

Recommended Posts

So after being told I needed a Glanza's chassis code I went back into the car about to head off home. I suddenly hear a loud car, looking in the rear view mirror, "WTF IT'S AN AE86!!" :p lol

It was parked up in the staff car park by one of the Technicians, I had a quick chat with him. He said it's his friends 4th '86 now and he does the work on it as he's qualified with Toyota, and he was kind enough to let me take some pics :D

I've never seen one in the metal since I was like 5 (yes, I remember lol) but ohh my god!! I fell in love with it straight away! :D

I can't remember whether he said it was an import or an original UK car, but it was absolutely MINT top to bottom! No rust whatsoever! 46,000 miles!!!

14" TOM's alloys wrapped in Semi Slick Advan Yoko's, interior standard but immaculate, and just check out that numberplate! :D

Needless to say I was giddy :)

I don't know about those AE86s, I think they're better to dream about than to own. A guy here in the Netherlands also had a sick AE86, after a Glanza by the way, it was actually featured on Speedhunters and all, but after a while it was becoming so annoying to drive on a daily basis he got rid of it. :)

Its an AE weekend! I saw an AE86 last night whilst outside the cinema, looked a right shed with its matt black bonnet, wings and rear panel - the door was blue with a black star on it - must be some sort of drift special.

That and over the last few days I have seen a couple AE101's too, one silver, one black, both sporting the same aftermarket front bumper.

i remember a few years ago over here you wouldnt go a mile without seeing one. Dont seem to be many on the roads now round my way maybe because of the price tag for one. Mate of mine has two jap spec levins which are very tasty and another lad not to far from me has a mint uk and two jap imports
