GAZ@A&G_TUNING Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 got mine through the other day for the ep85 mods all declared 500 quid whoop whoop, thats the cheapest i have ever had it, that me at 23 with 4 yrs claims, turned it down and got car traders policy sorted out now £2200 quid for me and aze and we can drive any car ;)bit i would say shop around dude that seem a tad high tbh, try admiral or adrian flux mate Quote
enots Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 aye shop around man my renewal with admiral the other week was £400 more than what sky quoted me in the end. just a matter of looking around Quote
Amjad Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Sounds a bit high, you have a few years NCB so it should be under £1000 I'd have thought Quote
Liam_D Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Tis a bit high mate, but i think i would be happy to pay it for a GT. Best bet is to just shop around thats all you can do really. Quote
Sparky Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 I was doing insurance quotes with my mate the other day and TPFT is actually more than fully comp these days on most sites!! It crazy!!Insurance = biggest joke ever Quote
BAZ2CRAZY Posted May 5, 2010 Author Posted May 5, 2010 Adrian flux wanted over 2k sold you know where i told them to put that...Admiral wanted 1365 or somthing but its hardly accurate for modifications when you do it online..:/Ergh. Ollie at Sky got back to me. Just waiting for a reply to see what they can do for me.Mitch Quote
5T4R7ET N/A Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 sometimes the fully comp insurance it cheaper because of the excess. you can try going fully comp and bumping up the excess, but that is risky. Quote
Galliano Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Tesco. I got a fantastic quote for the Paseo as a new driver, considering I was looking at £3k and over.. Just over £900 on mums policy and me named. So in respect, mine should be good on my own. Quote
Amjad Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 ^Sam check out Alliance & Leicester, they're quite cheap for names policies Quote
Steve GT Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 go fully copm. raise your excess to like £700 quid and you'll get it much cheaper. you can only raise your excess fully comp but it does make it cheaperdont crash though will cost you Quote
Glanza-Love Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 As ive said before...im 21... 3 points...all modds declared...£715 Quote
Sparky Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Thats a point, you 21 anytime soon? I bet it will be under a grand if you put your age as 21 Quote
