Police in California issue Pedobear warning

Californian Police have issued a bizarre statement warning parents that drivers who display Pedobear stickers may be paedophiles.

This massive misunderstanding of a car culture sticker favourite has sparked media fury Stateside, with it even making prime time news (see below).

Police have even gone as far as evicting a man in a Pedobear outfit at a comic convention because they thought he may have been a sexual deviant.

News of Pedobear is also hitting mainstream UK press now as well, with reports on the Daily Mail and other sites.

So if you do have a Pedobear sticker on your car and you start getting evil looks, you now know why. Yep, they think youâ??re a kiddy fiddler. Oh dear.

What is Pedobear?

Pedobear originally came from Japanese website 2ch.net, where he was actually known as Kumaa. However, his rise to fame happened after he was used on imageboard 4chan as a joke. Pedobear was born and the rest is history.

Over the years the peeping bear has become a popular graphic in car culture, and has been seen on everything from drift cars to show cars.
