Optional extras

basically i want to know as many optional extras going as possible for the starbo's

whos got them/how many have you got and some nice pictures too

Would prefer as many as possible for the GT's but na/s and glanzas welcome too

I've seen the scan Jay did for the glanzas out of his optional extra book but would love to know as many as possible for the GT's please.

flare, underseat tray, and clean box in this pic, and i think they mats are originals, but not sure.

ive also got a rear sun visor for the boot window, not seen another of them either.

and if you notice, my little bit where there is normally an ashtray and cig lighter, i have none, just a bigger little cubby hole. apparenty its an optional to have no cig lighter lol.

for non smokers i'd imagine.

there is a cig lighter in every other starlet ive owned or seen.

not many satnavs around in 1990, so the extra small storage pocket instead of an ashtray and cig lighter might have been appealing to some.

as scotish said, there were options for non smokers, for example, there was a non-smoking ash tray that was felt lined for coins, myself and SiCaln have them.

and yes there were rear sunvisors, Glanza Jim has one in his silver S.

i cant do pics because im in work, I've also tried to keep all my answers as EP82 specific as that is what was requested.

rear fog light was not an option no as they are not required in Japan, those are added upon import to the UK.

along with the roof rack there was a number of accompanying options, such as the ski holder and possibly a bicycle one. there were also additional din cup holders/storage boxes. I've never seen one without a cig lighter, more pics please scottish!

yeh, my one says toyota on it, and a date from when the car came out i think, and then another date about 3 years later or summit, not quote sure, i'll have a look at it later and let you know.

was the light up gt badge on the mk1 not an extra??

i have 1 of them non smoking ash trays and armrest, crystal lights, charchoal carpets, full mat set and a few other bits n bobs

by the way the jdm flare wasnt an optional extra its a legal requirment to have 1 in your car in japan

i have arm rest, 98 spec front and rear splitter and wind deflectors

crystal lights weren't an option to the best of my knowledge, they were a feature of the later models.
