Rob is in the process of setting up the account and i'm sure he will post the details once sorted.

This will be the way to take the club stands forward, hopefully it will be used for all stands this year

its deffinately a very good idea! what would we use the money for though?

Better Marqee, generator, etc non of which comes cheap and as a club we dont generate money for such things and i do believe that this has been covered off by certain individuals.

As a club this has to be the way forward, otherwise we as a club will always be behind the other clubs, second class citizens and i feel after attending all the shows this year we ARE better than that and just need to sort it!!!!!.

What are other peoples thoughts on this subject, or am i just day dreaming??

ive never shown with you guys before so dont know if you have them but something that i always think makes a club stand out are decent banners and properly done spec sheets and stands for them, i dont know what it is but i think they are just classy compared to hand written 1s stuck in the window. simple things realy but very effective. when i was showing my impreza with a local club they got these made up (front left corner of car)

as for a generator aslong as my boss isnt useing his i can have his big 1, its just getting all the stuff there as i have no space in the back of my car.lol

I have a small marquee thing if you wanted to use it. Nothing dramatic but could be good for a roof at least for some of the members!

My glanza wil be on the road then aswell at least then I wont have to drive a purple polo around!

Off subject, what about a raffle for the club supported with prizes from the traders on here??

Mods any takers to pester the traders?

Are there any other suggestions to raise club funds??

Do we want to take the club forward even though as members you are proabley the youngest individuals that own performance/modded cars

Maybe a thread should be started asking the question in how as a group of enthusiasts we take UKSC forward

been saying this for some time man, the nature of our 1.3s lend themselves so well as an intro platform to performance motoring as they can be relatively easily insured by young drivers and are not too hard on the pockets, which is why our demographic is unlikely to ever change a massive amount and we'll never really have the financial resources of some of the other clubs like SXOC or the Scoob guys - to own and run those cars u would need typically (before Rubix shouts at me, i say again, typically) deeper pockets, and those that can afford such things can afford to cover large hired industrial marquee set-ups such as we witnessed at JAE this year, its just the nature of the beast that is finance.

i have absolutely no doubt tho that we can continue to grow and develop to the best of our abilities, we are a resourceful bunch as has been proven many times, and i think with Rob and Amy at the helm and yourself helping out John that the UKSC presence at JAE is only ever going to get bigger and better.
