Anything interesting happen, or anything bad perhaps?For me, I don't think it could have been a better year. I think it's one of the best so far. Just a little summary if anyone is interested- Started Uni again, I didn't fancy my old course (Transport design) so I'm now studying Automotive Engineering which I am pleased with- ID-Workz was set up at the start of 2010, and has had an amazing starting year (thanks to ALL you guys)- I had a months holiday in April- ID-Workz Demo Glanza was mostly built, my first engine build ever. There is only small things remaining to get the car finished.- ID-Workz Demo GT was started, which is almost on the road now- I bought lots of Starlets, and lots of wheels, and lots of parts :P- I had my first track day experince, where I drove an Audi R8 and a Murcielargo- And finally... I got hold of a Cruise bonnet to mould from last week! I'd also like to take this opportunity to wish you all an amazing 2011, and hope you get the best you deserve. And a HUGE thanks is due to Geo, ID-Workz would not have been here if it was not for this man. He been supportive on another level since the first time I told him about plans for this business. siren676 Posted January 1, 2011 Share Posted January 1, 2011 This year was awesome. I discovered the joy of modifying starlets and have learned a hell of alot of stuff about how cars work. ep_brad Posted January 1, 2011 Share Posted January 1, 2011 2010 was a bit shit for me lost my job which meant i had to sell my 1st white gt which i just fitted a td12 turbo kit and having no work for the summer which meant i couldnt go out At least im now back on my feet with a good well paying job and another starlet gt to start all over again im loving 2011 already. Asad Posted January 1, 2011 Share Posted January 1, 2011 career wise is been the most definitive, waited 3 years and saw alot of set backs to get on the course im now doing, just gotta keep at it now and come out with a 70% first year average then my aim is to qualify with a 2:1apart from that its been a up/down year in most respects....im glad its over can now start fresh got a clear image of where i want the EP to be = a nice comfy mile munchersome of my close mates will be finishing uni this year too and heading back to there home land/different parts of england so my aim is to spend as much quality time with them as i can.....meeting up will only get harder to the point ill look back and realise its been years since we last saw one another......may try and settle down and find a lady friend? lolas with everything UKSC every step of the way! Guest Enzo Posted January 4, 2011 Share Posted January 4, 2011 replying to this one a bit late as my heads just turning back to normal now lol@ Idy na dude thats not a problem you compliment the site and im glad to have you and your creative ep skillz here.for me 2010 was mostly good, three highlights for me were -graduating-being at the final of the 2010 world cup- beating two evo 5s on the mate in my swat bus on repeated pullls lol(that was driving mecca for me)the club has come a long way this year and i know feel we are firmly established,ive done most of what ive set out to do with the place this year but as ever there are more ideas and developments in the pipeline.role on 2011 ;) Quote Link to post Share on other sites

BigMan Posted January 5, 2011 Share Posted January 5, 2011 Was not that bad a year for me some highs and some lowsPassed my college course and progressed onto the one im on nowWent to northern ireland to watch stockcars and had a great weekend awayPassed my driving testDone my first long distance drive from mine to ipswich and backhad my first crash Got a starlet but blew about a grand on it, aint going on the road nowCaught up with loads of old mates from schoolMade some great matesWent to japfest 2 with enzo (thanks again mate!) and had a great laugh and got to meet new people and have a good laugh.Roll on 2011 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
