GlanzaJim Posted January 14, 2011 Share Posted January 14, 2011 shoes have gone in the drums, picked them up for £40 man said yer there easy to fit. got the drum off and MY GOD it is like a puzzle.. never seen anything so complicated!gave up in the end, my car is now on axle stands with drums in pieces with about 30 springs and bolts!? and its raining anyone know of any guides for back drum shoe replacements? i cant do this on my own lol Quote Link to post Share on other sites

There my most hated job to do on a car haha! But that's just me as im not very good with Springs.. Russleh Posted January 14, 2011 Share Posted January 14, 2011 i done mine on my car without havin ever done one before and it wasnt too bad just took some time. not a job for the rain tho lol. and take a picture before u start and its just a matter of taking things off and puttin them on the way u seen em. look on here in the tutorial bit for the rear disc conversion it tells how to get the insides off the drums out. rorenapier Posted January 17, 2011 Share Posted January 17, 2011 Christ almighty, drums are a peice of cake to work with.Sounds like you need to give up and give it to someone that knows what there doing before you hurt yourself.
