dj_russell Posted January 27, 2011 Share Posted January 27, 2011 alright guys, i dont own a starlet and i wouldnt normally join a forum of a car i dont own, but on wednesday night i tagged along to the starlet meet in brum with dean and jay on here, i just wanted to say how sound you lot were i spoke to alot of you, i was the tall scruffy lad in the high vis id just got back from work when my mate rang me up to come along im also a toyota owner myself i have an st205 gt4 which i love to bits ill post a project thread up.also my sister was a starlet owner she was kaaaty or something on here i think.i have been on here for a while when dean posted up the video of our mates 500bhp g60 rallye that id filmed i decided to have a nosey.gt4s off the road till aprilish, cut a long story short had a bad year last year with no work car came off the road, then on the road, then off, then back on everytime we had some work as i said to a few on here i sold some nice bits on through needing the money etc... but kept hold of the important bits nomatter what, car was even nearly sold or swapped on pistonheads so many times, a mint series 1 escort rs turbo swap with a mate, an ek9 and a few dc2 typpe r's but i kept listening to my heart and here i am now still a gt4 owner, works become mental agen and im currently waiting on a nice selection of goodies and mods, id deffinately come along to a meet in my car.sorry for the essay see you all soon. dj_russell Posted January 28, 2011 Author Share Posted January 28, 2011 welcome to uksc!my cousin had a celica, jap import n/a and fuck me that was fast! never been so scared in my life!!so yours the turbo version im guessing? yea goes ok i guess tried and tested against some impressive cars evos and imprezas in paticular that i was suprised at tbh, i estimate the power to be nearly 300ish give or take, nothing too mad. i get told by friends i under-rate the car and power estimate with some of the battles ive had but my guess is below 300bhp-270 my terms??? that way nobody gets dissapointed apart from cars that the owners over-estimate and claim they can do this and that lol.
