DavidAshton
Rear pads are mullered to the end which as caused my rear disks to be very uneven.Outer 50% of the disk is higher than the inner 50% of the disk, ie it steps down. The outer part hasn't even been connecting with the pad and has gone rusty. If I bang new pads on to the rear disks will they take shape to the worn disks or will I be in a whole heap of shit and end up with no brakes.
N80Jamie
From the sounds of things your discs are foooooked. Get some new discs before you put the new pads on.

_shaun_
Had it on my last car and i was skint so they scimmed the disks however the garage did it as a favour and said new disks would be far better
Liam_D
I would either replaced with new disks or get them skimmed mate. Wouldnt risk it as it is your brakes!
daz gt turbz
new rear discs are £98.33 from camskill mate, and the bearing shell is already pressed into the disc thats your best option.
DavidAshton
Yeah decided to play it safe.New pads, disks and bearings on order from camskill. £155 all in, disks were more for abs model, all good though as i nipped the bearings tight to get it through the last MOT so will be good to have it all refreshed. Thinking about it I replaced the pads 3 years ago when I first got the car, left the disks so god knows how old they are, and ive not touched them since so its not too bad.
