Rob Scott Posted September 29, 2013 Author Posted September 29, 2013 yup 81 delorean i shipped over from the USthe new strut brace mounts to the engine too, as we were having problems with too much movement, so this should cure it.Fender braces also protect the front suspension, as theres a fair bit of contact in rallycross.I'm doing the 75th aniversary rallycross at Croft on the 24th November, its the biggest rallycross event ever in the UK, 60+ cars all competing together, 8 car grids! its gonna be mental! Rob Scott Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013 (edited) Well, I did the 75th anniversary at Croft on the 24th november, 5th in qualifying 1, and 5th in qualifying 2,Qualified sencond for the F final, and came second, which meant i qualified for the E final,I ended up hitting a fiesta on the first corner, which totalled his car, and finished my race. Rob Scott Posted December 26, 2013 Author Posted December 26, 2013 Allready fixed, ready for the first race of 2014, on the 9th Feb Damage wasnt too bad, just put a new inner bumper and brackets on, straightened out the right wing and door, and just a bit of filler on the bonnet where the gell coat had cracked off.
