LeeG Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 there nowhere really strong enough to bolt it to. only thing u could do is get a bar welded between the rear strut mounts. Quote
Russleh Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 idrees should take this opertunity and design then and get a GB on the go Russell Quote
Whitegv Posted August 1, 2011 Author Posted August 1, 2011 Surely with having a cage fitted a bar could be fitted across the back section of.it horizontally? Quote

_shaun_ Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 might be worth dropping keith a pm he does alot of custom requests he was gonna make me a roll cage till i bought cheshires Quote
joel_ep91 Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 make sure you can use the takatas with a bar first alot of harness's are just snap hooks for eye bolts Quote
ryan lang Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 it doesnt matter if they arent attached to the bar, aslong as they run over the bar and sit paralell with your shoulders and can slide off the bar, same as normal seat belts are Quote
Nanglebadger Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Dean is in the process of developing them.Phil. Quote
ryan lang Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 on that note, i saw dean at awesomefest with his trade stand his work looks awesome Quote
WallaceGlanza Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 If traders are going to offer these at some stage will any of them actually load test them and NDT (Non destructive test ie properly inspect any welds) each individual one? As these will be safety critical components. If one broke in a crash then it's your life at risk so I wouldn't be wanting to buy an item like this that's just knocked up in a shed with no thought put into the design or testing. Quote
BAM-BAM Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 This might give you an idea! I can measure the dimensions if it is any help! I am pretty sure this bar is within the regulations of the MSA blue book aswell! Quote
