miib14 Posted August 8, 2012 Author Share Posted August 8, 2012 pushed the car out so it could see the sun after such a looong time...thoughts on the grille?also put my oil pressure sensor on...got to work on making a cold air box.. just a template so farnearly there now...went and picked up aluminium2 sheets of 1000mm x 750mm x 1.2mm1 sheet of 1000mm x 500mm x 1.2mmpicked this up quite cheaplook at what i picked upgapswill require cutting to fitsome more pics of itfogs and indicators offthe heart of frankensteinfgk manifoldput the filter right in the corner, need to sort out the wires before making my box, so just got some aluminium and made a temp heatshieldpolished/cleaned up my fogslip going onto the bumper, screwed in and a little bit of filler in the centreone morebumper prep and paint, however it didnt come out 100% so will be re doing it sometime soonalso got this through the post todayand the facelift beginsnew bumper with all the lights fitted to itold vs newfront end strippednew bumper going oni liked this grille with this bumperbut i like this much moreand an edited piccleaned up the bay abitmy diy cooling panelwelded 2 strut braces together to make my own 3 point brace (needs painting black)sorted out the cold airbox abit more and sorted the wires tooo Quote Link to post Share on other sites
