kyb shocks

ive been given a quote of about 180 all in for 4 kyb shocks, can anyone tell me how they rate with 45 mill loweing springs not sure on spring brand yet

what model of KYB's? In general they're good quality shocks.

Had a set on my old mini, top shocks! Comfy but stiffen up well for circuit use :angry:

should i expect a seriously big bouncing difference between std tte springs and kyb shocks with 45 mill apex springs

i have kyb gas shocks with the 35mm springs an they r very comfortable and stiff when the time comes!! :angry:

Got also KYB shocks on my ep70 with 40mm lowering springs. They are very good

would konis handle better on back ass roads, ive to drive on back ass roads for work the odd time

Me and my friend both have KYB Excel-G gas shocks. £150 and in for 4 shocks and bump stops. Back roads everyday and no problems with TTE springs(thanx MANI4C).

id love the koni but at an extra 300 it isnt justified in the pricing i dont think, i got my full stainless steel exhaust on yesterday and got the middle box left in cause i didnt want it too loud, now it rubs slightly on speed ramps, so untill i get the middle box removed i wont be able to drop my car at all :-(

and if u get cheap shocks with too much of a drop u wont have an exhaust at all! Consider whether its worth it?!

i have the set up you want haha but i only wanted 30mm drop cause it looks cooler i think but all to there own and that anyway its a smooth ride but damn can you feel the bumps haha good for cornering can thrash round anywhere with the knowledge that my toyo proxis wont lose there grip haha:-)
