hi, i just bought a td04 kit for my glanza, im currently running a hybrid ct9 with an aem fic which has been mapped to 1 bar, what would be a safe boost pressure to run on the td04 untilli can get it remapped for the td04?

thanks Stefan

People will recommend 1bar on stock internals but I have seen people go to 1.2 and I'm sure driver on here was running 1.4 all depends how much u want to push your engine

I went for a bar as that's what I was advised by tuning developments and they mapped the car for me so i tend to stick with that they tell me

1.6 peak on a few santa pod "suicide runs" but 1.4 daily (for about 18-24moth) correct :)

I wouldn't run it at all without a map on a td04. Just wait until you can afford/find time etc to get it mapped then do the swap over then if you cant get it trailered/towed over drive it off boost. Better safe then sorry and all that.
