daniel_g
Paisley freight deliver a gearbox for 40 quid. Although it might be more expensive because of where you stay.
_shaun_
Do they need it on a pallet Daniel? Or would they pick it up just packaged up?
daniel_g
According to this it just needs to be drained and wrapped in bubble wrap or cardboard. https://www.paisleyfreight.com/packaging.php
_shaun_
Ahhh sweet will get a quote from them just put up on shiply Aswell
morgey
If you wanted to try other places a dry gearbox weighs about 32kgs as i weighed one at work a while back. And as above drained fluids and wrapped in bubble wrap is usually ok
StuDoc 72
Sorry mate cant agree with that I'd defo say a pallet.Say you just wrap the box its heavy its metal people arent gna treat it like somthing fragile. The bell housing and gearbox are soft and take very little to damage bouncing about on the back of a van or getting put down on concrete could very easily break it. Not saying it will just worth considering
Chesh
I sent gearbox few weeks ago that i sold on ebay drain it and wrap it very well sent it with parcel2go with no problems
5T4R7ET N/A
i have sent a gearbox for £11 through UPS. made a wooden frame for it. was a 4efe box weighed in at 28kg.if your sending rear axle then you will have to look for someone who does large items cheap. paisley freight are ok for these type of things
