pick1
Any pics of under the white ones bonnet ?
Turbo Goose
I dont think with a tb04 at 1 bar it would have a topmount intercooler plus its still got the standard manifold so cant be td04.I personally would go for a nice unmolestered glanza from 98/
AaronGlanza
Thanks lads I'm new to all this turbo stuff haha Test drove it last night and I love it so much faster than my c2 and I'm addicted to the blow off noise already haha He wants 2800 for it that's with all leather seats aftermarket steering wheel 2800 doesn't seem bad for a car running close to 200break (apparently)
davehart
He's talking shit about the TD04, power output and more than likely forged pistons!I'd check if it has a JAM ECU to, have a look under the drivers footwell to the left and you will see the ECU.Has it a boost controller fitted?
StuDoc 72
I highly doubt its running 200bhp.It has standard mani intercooler also airfilter is not relocated. It also looks like it still has standard leads. I think the forged pistons will be a lie aswell as they would be uneccessary for this spec and why would he fit them and leave in the standard rods. Can you get proof of it actually having a jam ecu? A bog standard glanza is still very quick and would feel a massive jump from a c2 so dont get caught up in false claims of its spec be careful.Theres also alot of more trustworthy cars for sale on here take a look at them. morgey
^^^ ecu is behind the glove box on the passenger side??? As for the top one if its only got a ported stock manifold then its very unlikely to be td04Are these 2 different cars or both pics of the same car?
StuDoc 72
Good spot morgey different wheels in both pics. Also looks like theres a decal on the windscreen in top pic.To be honest pal I would take a wide berth the seller has tried to fleece you with a false spec ud be silly to buy a car from someone who has lied to you about it. Azz
Deffinatly not a td series as you can just make out were the intercooler feeds the ct, the little plate that connects too the ct is there Edited January 10, 2013 by Azz
StuDoc 72
Yeah its clearly a ct9. Stay clear he has blatantly fed you bullshit.
AaronGlanza
It's the same car lads, just different wheels, I know the owner but just checking see if he's lying to me lolSo what do we think its just a standard glanza v?

AaronGlanza
Haha yeah I'm gunna leave it mate I know I'm gunna make myself look a right cunt by saying this but what's the difference between like a glanza glanza v gt ect ect Just different engines or?
morgey
More like the bodies, engines have a few small differences but barely worth mentioning.Gt's are lighter therefore faster acceleration but not really noticalble Most parts other than body are interchangable Edited January 10, 2013 by morgey
Azz
Glanza and glanza v is the same buddy, came in two styles face lift and pre face lift to look at eternallyt mostly just the front bumper is different. The gt was pre 94 and there is a mk1,2 3 and much lighter.Engine wise are the same I think gt and stronger internals tho
