Mike@TD.co.uk
Afternoon folks, We've had a few requests for an ABS removal kit, just wondering if it would be something that some of you guys would be interested in? Would be a replacement kit that can be fitted by most people with basic mechanical knowledge, supplied with braided hosing and fittings etc. Just after peoples thoughts on it and whether it is worth doing Cheers Mike JonesTuning Development s Ltd

Vincent-ep91
interested too, could finally remove all that crap that no longer works... Depending on price of coarse
scoobykilla
Interested in this too as want to get the engine bay decluttered. Would remowving the ABS not cause troubles at MOT time??
Malcolm GT
As above what about MOT time?Otherwise I'd be in
daniel_g
If its not there you cant test it, i believe. You'll need to remove the bulb or put a resistor in the turn the light off. The braking efficiently will probably improve without ABS.
Chris_14a
Easiest thing todo would be to remove the bulb and the abs unit wouldn't be there so no MOT issues.
daniel_g
Or put a bit of duct tape over the outside of the clocks where the light is if you dont wanna take it out. MOT tester cant remove the tape to fail it.
A L 3 X
Can I ask the reason for removing ABS? I find my ABS is too keen on some junctions if theres a bit of gravel there and i find when it kicks it doesn't seem to do a great deal? Would braking be better without it?
