Tyron Devine
As above when i come to a stop. Traffic lights etc my steering wheel decides to shake it's nuts off. It isn't little vibrations it's pretty bad & is driving me mad Lol. It then stops for a few seconds then carries back on. Any help would be great it's getting really annoying :-/ Edited February 13, 2013 by Tyron Devine

ryan lang
there are steering rack bushes aswell 1 column bush i do believe. chances are its the rack bushes being so close to the rear gearbox mount

Socks
WIll be poly engine mounts that do this... A Slight raise on your idle.... May sort it
LeeG
Warped disks or cv joint is on its way out.
Socks
If its shaking when the car is not moving it IS NOT warped disks or CV Joints...
har-vey
there are some silly responses to this thread, it clearly states the car isnt moving, id say rack bushes bud. what rpm are you idling at? has it dropped and does bliping the throttle help? Turbo Goose
I actually read it as, "when I come to a stop my steering wheel shakes its nuts off"So I presumed he was braking to come to a stop. Not really a silly response

Liam_D
It'll be engine mounts does it have polys?? Can remember keirzs used to do this after he fitted the whiteline one.
Socks
Be your poly mounts... Try lowering or raising your idle to try and get away from that certain frequency where it vibrates like mad! I Have TRD Mounts... For Exactly This Reason!
