Alright folks im currently running a jperformance exhaust on a stock engine at 229 bhp but been seriously thinking about going forged over the last couple of months and in need of a new exhaust


Anyone clued up about exhaust system flow rates etc and whats best on a forged engine runing 1.4 bar of boost?


Any help would be appreciated

JPerformance is quite good as it's a rep of the Nur Spec I think, like the Japspeed? Just get the front section made to 2.5" or 3" (if it's 2.25" now that is)

Anything good flowing (so mandrel bends) with perf-tube boxes (less restriction then chamber boxes) will do as long as its 2.5" or above.


Had a blueflame on mine and know a mate who had a japspeed and worked out why they were cheap pretty quickly.

The jperformance one has been a good exhaust but i also found that it sits quite low and sweeps down quite a bit from the de-cat, anyone else found this?


Also does anyone know the difference between the blitz nur spec s and nur spec r?

The Nur spec R is 3" and the S tapers down to 2.5 at the back box...

Other than that... Don't think there is much difference.. Maybe the angle?

Noticed the R is a lot straighter than the S .. Seems to sit quite low/flat.

I've got a modified Blitz Nur Spec on mine. Had an extra flexi pipe put in, and an extra bracket to stop it smashing into speed bumps.
