neilsmith Posted February 23, 2013 Share Posted February 23, 2013 Alright folks im currently running a jperformance exhaust on a stock engine at 229 bhp but been seriously thinking about going forged over the last couple of months and in need of a new exhaustAnyone clued up about exhaust system flow rates etc and whats best on a forged engine runing 1.4 bar of boost?Any help would be appreciatedthanks, Neil. Driver Posted February 24, 2013 Share Posted February 24, 2013 Anything good flowing (so mandrel bends) with perf-tube boxes (less restriction then chamber boxes) will do as long as its 2.5" or above.Had a blueflame on mine and know a mate who had a japspeed and worked out why they were cheap pretty quickly. Matt1878 Posted February 24, 2013 Share Posted February 24, 2013 The Nur spec R is 3" and the S tapers down to 2.5 at the back box...Other than that... Don't think there is much difference..
