Driver
E36 325 or my option would be an mx5 (in fact it is as I have one) They come unrivaled on track for the price ! You could even get a mk2 for that price which are a little stiffer and more powerful.
Whitenoize
what do people think of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1993-NISSAN-SUNNY-PULSAR-GTI-WHITE-67K-NOT-GTI-R-/230952772442?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D6523202032784550600%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D3%26sd%3D151014872628%26 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-civic-1-8-vti-MB6-7-months-mot-4-months-tax-MINT-Honda-reliability-/251249186738?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3a7f9e57b2
morgey
id say get the almera instead of the sunny as its more common so cheaper parts etc. and only thing i can say about the civic is, why a 5 door other than its probably cheaper?
Whitenoize
exactley mate its cheaper and its a 1.8 over the 1.6 are the almeras 2.0? I've never had or been in any nissan gti,s was a mate said to consider them.. are they good engines?
Hou
I wouldn't get an almera myself, not heard great things about them handling wise which is what you want to concentrate on. You might get lucky with a rough EK4 or what about a mk3 golf gti?I will ask on the Track-Ninjas Facebook page
morgey
the 3 door civic vti's are probably quicker as they are lighter and only 10hp down at 158hp. the nissan's both use non turbo SR20de's so yes 2.0l but only 145ish hp iirc they are pretty solid engines and with the right mods can be free'd up quite well, always have the option of boost with the SR20deT which is the turbo motor or get the neo vvl engine which is nissans vtec SR20VE and are 197hp stock n/a lol
jimmymac101
I know il be hated for this but what about a red top corsa? Parts are easy to source along with cheap new parts and if you wreck it, what the hell at least it's another corsa off the road lol James
