My Dad made the sub frames from scratch. He's an Engineer you see, he loves that sort of stuff.

He ground the feet off the standard seats and bolted them back onto the floor of the car, then used rolled steel bar to make all of the supportive bars between the feet and bolted the seats straight to the bar. Clever man my old man.

hhhmmmmmm frp..... well if I did that Id be kissing the old man's arse, he wanted me to get that or he wanted to make me a kevlar one. (He used to build and race power boats) Maybe Ill just sort by bonnet out in the way of dents and chips and leave it as it is.

Little update. Got my Whitleine bar in, then put my harness round it. Stuck my extinguisher in. Stripped the rest of the carpet out and painted the floor- again. Today found some sexy Sparco mats, which are bigger than standard universal ones so they fit better and dont slide about on the floor :ph34r: .

I've been meanin to pick up one of those fire extinguishers for my motor too!!! need to get round to that!

those mats are a PERFECT fit, great find man!!!! car just looks totally spotless and perfect dude, great work!!!! extremely smart!
