loz180691
Hi I'm running std brakes on my starlet and due to change brakes all round just want to know what disks and pads are the best quality to buy? I do sometimes drive it hard so want something quite good. Any links of websites to buy from will be great as well.Cheers
Amjad
WMS do a thicker than stock disc and Redstuff would probably decent
Idrees
I would recommend EBC drilled/grooved discs with EBC Green or Yellow pads. We have both on our website: http://www.id-workz.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3_1118_8_9&zenid=2f2bad94b5e254692622eabbfe9de25d
Banbury Glanza
My personal opinion is a big no to yellow stuff mate there shit
davehart
WMS do a thicker than stock disc and Redstuff would probably decent Red Stuff pads are just plain dangerous when cold Good on the track though. 3G Discs and a decent set of mintex pads work very well on mine. Keri-WMS
If it was my money I would go for our "110%" discs (thicker casting on the disc but still use the standard calipers etc), and Ferodo DS2500 pads as we get far better feedback on them than on EBC. Horses for courses really, pads are the thing people agree about the least!
daniel_g
Keri, what discs do you offer for either the celica / levin calipers ? Looking to upgrade shortly and im told you have compatible discs.
loz180691
I have grooved disks on at the moment and brembo pads put they fade out to quick and don't really slow me down Edited June 10, 2013 by loz180691

Broony
yeah its personal preference , yellow stuff is good if you if want all round performance hot and cold, redstuff is good but can take time to warm up but once warm they are good
