turbo Grant Posted June 21, 2013 Share Posted June 21, 2013 The box in my starlet has the extra flange bit and I was told by Aze that it was the stronger longer 3, 4th gears. I also have a spare box that I picked up from a mk2 GT and that has the extra flange bit as well. I will strip that down at some point and count the teethe. jayc-glanza17 Posted June 21, 2013 Share Posted June 21, 2013 morgey is right lads.I have krissy b old c52 box and it has the extra flange bit.. so russel you have a c56 gearbox.. can test it when yours is back.but I had a c56 ie no extra flange bit and could only do 101 in third.now im hitting 109 in third both at 7200.
