triple j
As above lads, dry roads am talking about and no clutch slapping, my own will go all out in 2nd and has a fair fight in 3rd no point talking about 1st cuz its silly, that's 1bar td04 and good tires and no lsd. Socks
No LSD is your issue here... Or you'll just spin your power away to one of the wheels!
triple j
I no its an issue alright, but am sure some of the big power lads running a lsd have traction issues, thats what am wanting to here.
Socks
1bar on a td04 will be about 200-210bhp... You'll get traction with decent tyres and an lsd in 2nd... defo 3rd... Anything over 300bhp... 3rd will be squirming...
Azz
Soon to be around 400bhp with no lsd so il let you know haha plans are for a dog box so not much point in putting and lsd box on there at the moment
har-vey
252hp 1 bar on td04 with a oem lsd and 2nd will spin if im turning but fine on the straight, 3rd fine.
morgey
I've had mine spin up at the top end of 3rd before but there must have been something on the road for that. Normally mine hooks up in 2nd straight away, levin lsd or cusco. 1st is hard to judge as it depends on how you pull off or if you're rolling. 175hp 122lbft
daniel_g
I had my GT spin up in 3rd and even 4th in certain circumstances. No LSD right enough, 16'' Yokos, all mods + Mines ECU to support TD04 at 1 & a bit bar. Paddle clutch 2nd gear launches FTW though.
Mad Mike EP82
Only loose traction in 1st lol That's with shit spec 2's car setup has a lot to do with traction 200 bhp 3rd gear wheel spin lol

kbond
Get an lsd! By far the best mod ive done so far and im running 202hp and get very good traction even in 2nd with toyo t1r's. Just depends how you drive really.
TurboTobz
LSD will never eliminate loss of traction but it will make a substantial difference from stock.
glanza97
factory fit lsd on td04 at 258bhp on toyo proxies and it starts to grip at about 5000-6000rpm in 2nd Edited August 23, 2013 by glanza97
Chesh
Cusco lsd 212bhp at .8 on td04 and i couldnt stop wheel spin in 2nd

Idrees
Same as the yellow one then, the black one is almost stock and just not quick enough. Shes crying out for most boost!!

shorty
Not entirly sure tbh dude, i dont fully understand how the 4wd system functions as the bottom end shat itself too quick to realy play with it n ever since its been in build mode. Should defo have enough power to id of thought.
DevonGT
Shorty, you think you'll be able to light up a 4 tyres on the 85 ? Pretty sure you can't do that with the system the 85 as.
AdamB
I think Gaz managed to get a slight bit of wheelspin, but it soon sorted itself out.
Chand
I can get traction on good run in 2nd at about 5000 rpm running spec 2's 296.6bhp td05 with TRD LSD Edited September 8, 2013 by Chand
