Hybrid turbo .... No power ????

Fit my hybrid turbo lastnight and the car has next to no power ?! Can anyone tell me what to do or check ? My standard turbo had alot more power

It's only coming up one light on the turbo bit on the dash and that's about 4k rpm ??

Any ideas

It's not making full boost, check for leakss in intercooler pipe work, could also be actuator related among other things but i'd check them first.

I would check for vacuum leaks mate, check that your intake isn't blocked if your meshed, check for cracked manifold/downpipe, intercooler pipes split, intercooler split/cracked check for all the obvious things first, failing that turbo could be knackerd

Turbo has just been rebuilt dude ! So it's not that, and wee never took much off but I will check it anyway and noting is cracked dude 😟 it's a nightmare I'm ready to give up

I apologise I didn't know it was rebuilt lol nah don't give up just keep cracking on with it I'm sure it's something simple like a pipe come off or split just go over everything you touched to remove it let us know when you sort it!

Which actuator you usin? Is it standard or adjustable, need adjust for more boost on hybrid

You have a leak there, if the gasket is missing/broken

Camskill definatley do them and I'm pretty sure I'd works do aswell mate, only a few quid

Do you have a boost gauge and how much boost you got? PM ID-workz/Idrees and he will sort one for you :-)

No, no boost gauge but only one light comes on on the dash so it's running low boost I know that 😟 and it comes on at like 4k rpm and like 1.0 corsas are beating me hahah

Quite sure you got a boost leak there then. Get a new gasket and report back.

Ok dude just I need to drive to college this week so need the car, I will try my magic to get me by untill I get a new one, if there is no gasket there atall will that be the problem of no boost ??

You can drive it, but don't leave it leaking for weeks or months haha. Yes, if the gasket is missing compressed air will leak out and pressure won't build up.
