tatep82 Posted November 16, 2013 Share Posted November 16, 2013 Just had a nightmare rotating my turbo to miss the oil filter and one of the pipes coming from the housing is wanting to sit where my manifold is any ideas please? Socks Posted November 16, 2013 Share Posted November 16, 2013 on the TD04... You need to rotate all three parts of the turbo.. Compressor needs to point down.Core, return needs to point straight down.Exhaust Housing, will need rotating to suit whatever angle your downpipe has been made too! Your removing the housings off each side and spinning them! The Core (shaft, turbines, bearings, seals) is one piece. Don't take that apart... It will be stuborn. You will need Oxy Cet to get the exhaust housing off and a rubber mallet! Quote Link to post Share on other sites

After a bit of heat she came off a treat and she's now fitted to the car :-) I'll have to try get some pictures up on my build thread but photobook never wants to work with me and no one looks on my progress anyway sad times!
