Azz Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 There was one for sale on Facebook for 5.5k on a ct9 rebuilt engine 10k ago.Told him that it a well over priced then he kicked off with me saying wtf do I know and he's spent 5k on it, simple answer your a douche sir just because you spend 6k don't mean it's worth that haha Quote
Chris_GlanzaV98 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Its a forum member your on about Azz beleive it or not, i to told him the same thing that no glanza on standard engine and turbo is worth over 4k maximum. Him and his gf jumped on the bandwagon to which i reminded them ive owned my starlet for years and that his was not worth what he was asking. At the start i was only trying to help him out as he doesnt have a clue about starlets or any car i dont think, but when i was told "i dont care how long youve owned your starlet" after tagging me in a post or two about questions he had with his starlet i decided he was someone who thought he knew it all about them and didnt require my advice, he was deleted and i have one less dafty on fb Quote

How can you spend 8 grand on a standard engine ? Quote
Mikeyallgood85 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Holy smoke batman! If he gets the asking price for that I'm selling mine for 10k! it's worrying really, if he thinks that's worth that much what does he consider a well built engine! Quote
daniel_g Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Yeah Azz he wasn't happy lol, if youre a mechanic then theres no labour charges (perk of the job ) so this 8K on an engine must be parts alone, i find it hard to believe 8K has been spent on that engine tbh. Quote
EPnick22 Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 maybe each piston ring cost £100, maybe £400ish per piston and rod ;) Quote
Guyturnbull Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Must be gold plated lol what a dreamer Quote
