Eynonz
Now seeing as it's my first Turbo car, i'm still learning all the ins and outs. Is this a normal reading for my boost gauge when at idle @ 1k RPM? Edited January 12, 2014 by Eynonz
aidanep71
No at idle should have a vacuum. Prob just where it's plumbed into
Rob H@RCH Engineering
Whys the idle at 1000 rmp? looks like you have a vac leak going on that. And that would cause the idle to be hi too.
Ollieh17
I have a similar issue.I have an idle around 1,000-1,100 and just with slight throttle with the reading at -0.5 the needle wobbles. I've had a look for vac leaks and can't find anything!
TedEP91
Guys I'm a bit lost, have a glanza 96 with large front mount, decat with straight through all the way, ct9 hybrid turbo and a baileys blow off valve and boost bypassed so always on high.. When I put my foot to half throttle it boosts to 0.5 but if I try any more is starts like jumping and restricts itself any ideas?? Teddy

Eynonz
That sounds like a could be a pain in the Arse to find. Is there any common places or tricks to finding this?
mikey4410
should read -20 psi at idle.
Eynonz
That what it was until something happened on Saturday. Only a vac leak that can cause this?
