turbo Grant Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Be good to see what a fast hybrid can do Quote
russ78 Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 I hope it has a straight six turbo what engine is still totally under wraps but rumours are saying a 3.5 V6 Hybrid producing 400BHP Quote
Nanglebadger Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Bit of a feature on Speedhunters about it. They dont seem convinced its the new Supra, but if some of that makes its way into some production models, that'll be schweet! Phil. Quote
maddox710 Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Look like a gt86 crossed with a lexus lfa Quote
russ78 Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 (edited) Look like a gt86 crossed with a lexus lfa and by all accounts that's exactly where Toyota wants it to fit, a high end sports car cant imagine what the price tag is gonna carry though Edited January 16, 2014 by russ78 Quote
dai_starletN/A Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 It probably is going to be a straight six if this is the chassis they are developing with BMW Quote
AdamB Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 The GT86, new Yaris turbo and now this. Toyota really upping the game last few years. Quote
Steven1995 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 I don't like the front I hope they will change that. Quote
Azz Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 I'll give it around a month after its launch that someone has a 2jz in it ! Quote
smithyithy Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Nissan GTR is £76k, BMW M3/M4 is £56 starting price.. If it performs well enough they could aim it between those 2.. it might be more viable to price it lower than the BMW though, but we're yet to hear any reals specs so who knows. They're showing the concept the same way they did with the FT-86 / GT-86, with this being called the FT-1.. It's clearly a spiritual successor to the Supra, regardless of its name. Quote
