Need some advice guys, car isn't currently insured and I know it's registered as a non turbo. But want to insure it properly as glanza v. Is it ok go just insure as a glanza v even though it's registered as an s? Or does this need to be altered??

Mine has Starlet Sportiff on it's log book I think, and I made sure that my insurance knew that it was an Imported Glanza V. Some people just go on what the log book states, but if they were to be in an accident, I'm fairly certain that the insurance companies won't pay out.

The reason the log book says that is because the dvla dont have the glanza in their system as it was jdm so most imports go down as the closest thing they can get. This was what I was told anyways. :)

Hi mate, you should inform the DVLA its a Glanza V and have the logbook changed, then insure it as that.

Thats what your ment to do anyway but nobody does haha.

Both my glanza where down as starlet 1.3 (due too dvla not knowing what the car is) don't really have to change it on logbook just tell them it's a glanza v turbo japanese import and declare mods if any and you'll be on your way buddy. Better safe than sorry and it also voids insurance if it's incorrect. Also welcome along!!!
