Jamie1st Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Hi guys. Does anyone know if there's a bigger rear brake setup that can be fitted to a Glanza? Gt4 etc? Or will it be wildwood/ksport Quote
JordanEP91 Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 (edited) Haven't heard of one as of yet mate it's definitely something that needs doing the only trouble is the handbrake cable Edited February 14, 2014 by JordanEP91 Quote
rob_bower Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Pointless unless you add a adjustable bias valve as it's only about 15% of braking done at the rear. Quote
Jamie1st Posted February 14, 2014 Author Posted February 14, 2014 I've got a bias valve ready, competing with the car do I'd say it's crucial to set the car up how I want it to drive I'd say it's crucial so I can set the car up how I want it * Quote
Ryan5793 Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 agree something for the rear brakes is needed, noticed once i put 4 pots on the front the back end goes twitchy when breaking hard, guess where the breaking balance is out now Quote
TimD Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Fit the same pad material to the back as you have on he front, make sure your rear disks are fresh, do away with the standard proportioning valve and fit an adjustable one. The only time you really need to shift your braking around once it's set is if it's wet out, bigger rear brakes are unnecessary. Quote
Azz Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Fiat turbo calipers and astra discs, you have to get a small amount machined from the inside of the disc.Think there was a thread on tgtt Quote
Keri-WMS Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 We're planning on doing a rear kit, but it's a way off yet I'm afraid.... :-/ Quote

Keri-WMS Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 It's on the list, but getting the (re-stock) 4-pot kit bracket batch finished is in front I'm afraid! Quote
Phil Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Pity but priorities and all that jazz Phil Quote
