_shaun_
£60 from memory they had options from £50-£130 on shipping i went with fedex econmey and to be fair it was only really 2 working days delivery and am classed as highlands and island by some so it takes longer for a package to come from like 60 miles down the road ha! _shaun_
well its been awhile since i updated this. i rebuilt and sprayed my new lsd gear box and fitted my orc clutch before heading up to the drag strip with some mates. sadly for love nor money i couldnt get the car to go straight and it was pulling horednously all over the place so only managed an embarrsing 13.9. couldnt work out what was happening with it and with banzia approaching i decided to take the car with some of the scottish lads up to that and just have it parked up all day. the car was actualy extremely well received with alot of people looking and taking pictures off it. had a chat with a photographer from banzai who seemed extremely keen to take down my details and discuess possibly getting a photoshoot once i was done and happy with the car.for those with a keen eye ull notice the lower bar on the bumper is now black. the night before banzia my detailer managed to crack my bumper so as a quick repair was done with vinyl.the next day i got booked into a company that do alot of work for rally cars and they set up my suspention and it now handles absolutely superb. ive also been given a list of things to help take it further so am working on that now. wanted todo valve stem seals before japfest but i decided it wasnt work risking it with 3 days till after that. so i just left everything as is. me and dave set about on the 1000mile round trip for japfest and despite a small leak from the rocker cover the car never missed a beat met a group of other jap cars heading down pretty early on so got some good banter going down. show turned out to be far bigger and alot better than i expected so was a great day out followed by the 500 mile journey home absolutely destroyed with sunburn. sadly didnt get many pictures as i needed my for battery for sat nav! back from japfest and with a boot full of parts from id-workz i started the valve stem seals used this wee tool and was actualy suprised how easy it was. between work and the weather being poor i decided id rather just try finish off the rest of the work i wanted done this year then i can sit back and enjoy it for the rest of the shows. so start of the week i pulled all the igntion, fuel, and management system out. totaly ball ache fitting the wepr manifold but got there in the end just mocked up my fuel rail to make sure that was all ok while i wait on some wire and sensors to arrive to finish installing the dta. then hopefully get it mapped in time for scottish car show and get it down to japfest 2 and jae. RobSR
Looking good mate Think those wheels look awesome on it too. Are you running spacers on the front to clear the brakes with them?
_shaun_
i run 2mm spacers ha! it was so close i actualy rubbed a tiny part of laquer of the caliper with out them and had to remove like half a mill from one of my wheel weights to clear them
_shaun_
well struggling for time on the car but new fuel systems finished injectors fitted and wired in. with the intake fitted had to reroute some heater hoses and air lines so thats all been done. mocked up my new intercooler piping which will do untill i can get custom pipes made over winter. bit of the intercooler pipie is away to have an air temp sensor fitted. rest of my sensors and plugs arrived so just need a good spot of weather and abit of spare time between work and i should hopefully have it all fitted ready to be trailed away. this is how its currently sitting. doesnt look miles off the last picture but the amound of fidgity work done is unreal ha!
