TurboTobz
Used an L200 a fair amount, abused it through off road tracks, grounded it out in at midnight middle of a wood that'd been logged and was overgrown… It was an awesome truck it took abuse never got stuck, very comfortable and easy to drive it'd covered a lot of miles and never had any real notable issues. Rob Scott
ford ranger single cab 2wd 2.5 n/a diesel. most reliable car i have ever owned! ran on cooking oil too!Slammed it, so it was easy to put stuff in the back I sold it and got a Chevy S10 4.3L, great for towing, burnouts, and pretty quick for a truck

Rob Scott
the ranger is 1999, I took the body off and restored the chassis, alltho thats a UK truck, they do have rangers in the US but LHD. 2WD rangers drift for fun! and the S10 is 1993, Same with that, took the body off, painted chassis and body The 20's are a bit too gangsta, so i got some early 90's Boyd coddington 17x10 3 spokes for that OG look. engine is 170bhp 300lb+, so awesome for towing the rally car and loaded with spares. You can pick up S10's from around £3K, not too bad for getting parts, get them shipped over from USAutomotive or ebay. nikhilkamdar12
That Hilux probably has a really high millage as they are commercial vehicles and guessing a HL2 and a manual, with base spec lol
daniel_g
Mazda BT50 are decent enough, although it is a ranger with Mazda badges. Whats your budget anyway ?

TurboTobz
Why not get a decent decent cheapish 4x4 and a trailer? No commercial insurances etc. That's what I've done, have myself a nice family sized car and 4x4 capabilities

daniel_g
Not practical though lol ^^ but aye cool as fuck. Yeah when i was looking at pickups insurance was mental, classed as a commercialised vehicle, even though the exact same truck but with more roof and seats was half the price :/ Insurance companies fucking baffle me. If you extend your search to 4x4 jeep type things then i recommend Nissan trucks, although engines can be a bit soft on Navaras. The Pathfinders and Patrols are fuckin quality big wagons. Same with the old Terranos.
