Djaniero
yO guys, I'm gonna have a stab at rotating my td04 later on this evening. I'm never done one before so a lil worried about damaging the fins. I'll be using this guide: http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showthread.php?11001-Steps-On-How-To-Rotate-A-Tdo4l-Turbo Has anyone got any better pics, or any other tips that may come in handy when doing this? Also are there any specialist tools that may come in useful? Thanks Edited May 12, 2014 by Djaniero
akyakapotter
Big circlip pliers and pliers to pull the locating pins out don't need to grind them off.

brendonware
Looks like i'll be having a go at this very soon as i just bought a td04 that needs rotating! One thing that i dont get is that the oil return seemingly will be in the wrong place and how would you get the actuator to line up? cus its going to be miles out! As that should stay in the same position and you just move the turbine and compressor housings
