late re-sorning a car

hey guys my classic mini project has been gathering dust in the garage for a while now and obviously the car is sorned at the moment.

well thing is i totally forgot about it and forgot to re-sorn it.

well its gone over a few days now and ive tried to do it online and it wont let me, and the post office say they dont do that stuff anymore - how the fuck do i resorn it?!

p.s - i havent had a renewal form reminder thing come in the post at all? which is half the reason i forgot the fucking thing

Try the dvla website. Will have a number to call or something?

I am sure you can declare sorn by post if you can't solve it over the phone, give dvla a phone

I forgot to sworn mine for a few weeks so I wouldn't worry too much

You can do it over the phone now mate if you pick the tax option. I did my bmw yesterday on the phone.

When did you sorn it last I heard that noworries they last until your ready to tax the car

It used to be valid for 12 months. I got fined, albeit small amount for being a bit late,

They might have changed it now as i still have email confirming it lasts 12 months,

but i tried to re-sorn and it keep saying sorned already.
