Faisal_Sol
My first car accident,Driving along the north circular doing 50mph (speed limit) when a BMW in front of me decides to brake sharp as soon the lights turn yellow, i tried swerving into the left lane to avoid him but ended going into the left of his bumper. I know going into the back of someone automatically means it was my fault, but he did have clearway and there was no need for him to brake when the lights turned yellow. I feel like absolute shit! My car does too :lol:Parts I need:Front wing (Driver side)Glanza BonnetGlanza headlight and indicator (driver side)Front Panel Has anyone attempted to replace the front panel on their car? If so how hard is this, and do you have any instructions?Any help appreciated!!
Sparky
SHIT!!!!Sorry to hear this mate well gutted for you The guy claiming yea???We just changed the front panel on mine, its pretty simple...Get a spot weld remover drill bit and put it on a drill, look for the spot welds which are little circle areas and drill thgem slightly (just so it goes through the one layer of metal) do this for all the spot welds and the panel will come off and just get the new panel and line it up and spot weld back on.Hope you get it sorted hassle free mate Lewis

Ryno
shit mate, sorry to hear/see the news! happened to my dad the other day, going 60, lights flashed orange and the guy infront lit up his tyres to stop, funnily enough the 2ton landrover we were in behind dosn't have quite the same stopping distance!needless to say he learnt his lesson about slamming on your breaks the second the lights flash amber, lucky for my dad he was foreign so didn't know the rules about being hit from behind and there wasn't a scratch on either car, so after a quick bout of calling him all the names under the sun and making him see the error of his ways, we went on our way without swapping details would hate to think of the damage under that guys bumper you going through insurance? spoken to Jay about parts? Sparky
Got the headlight quarter panel (driverside) from Toyota for about £20 think I may have posted the part number in the appropriate section You old man will loose his no claims if they are not protected Again Toyota would sort you out with the parts, I had a bonnet for £130 (without scoop), headlight would be about £50 and wing about £70 hope that helps bud
briggers
i feel for you buddy. its heart breaking when you crash your pride and joy. happened to me in the old car went round a bend pretty quick then though ooooo maybe not this quick tapped the breaks and understeered into a wall. was off the road for about 3 months. your car looks like a minter 2. lucky you got a glanza because if that was a gt like mine then that would have been a lot worse. Bourkey
Oooooo dats a bit of a dink!!As people have said it's all easily fixable so i wouldn't worry about it too much.As for the insurance. If your dad has no claims on another car he wont lose them on the other car just this one. The no claims is only for the car so he will lose them for this car unfortunatley. As Sparky says he will not lose them if they are protected.Hope you get it sorted soon matey.Bourkey
