BJShipley
Mate I've tried toothpaste 3-4 times and it's never done anything. Like not even touched the hazing lol The person before me had stickers on the passenger side light too and you can still sort of see the outline of where it sat Bret. BJShipley
Well been a long time without an update. So where do I begin. Firstly me and my mate had a great time at japfest. We met some great people and had a good laugh there and in the convoy down! Even though I was red raw from sun burn after it was over and had packed my car to the brim to stop for the weekend with sleeping bags, tent, pillows and all that just to arrive and wonder why nobody else was setting up tents.. Yep I got the wrong show. No camping as it was a one day event.. Oh well live and learn! A few photos of the car on the way down and in the convoy. Thanks to everyone who took these photos A few on the stand. Was a quiet one.. D: New parts! Okay so first of all a big thank you to Matt and Simon (unsure of the names on here) both massive life savers and great genuine guys also a massive thank you for fitting me the parts! So she's just had a couple of parts fitted. Shes had new ball joints fitted, rear brake pads and discs, bearings and then unfortunately we discovered a spring had snapped on the drivers side front. But luckily these lads had a spare one and got it me fitted until I get my coilovers!Ive purchased another bumper with a livesport lip on it but a few problems with it. Firstly it's had a side exit in the past so has had a hole cut out of it and the second is that the splitter is bonded on. So it looks like it's going to have to somehow have the hole filled over. And then it's in black so next is for it to get sprayed and fitted! Then she will be a full livesport kitted v! Here's a photo I've also gone and got myself an awesome deal and brought these sexy things! Incredibly light I couldn't believe it! Genuine Ray Volk te37's! With fairly new uniroyal rainsport 3 tyres all around. Finished off with purple tegiwa wheel nuts! So off with the replicas and on with the genuine ones Also gone and got myself an adjustable c pillar bar just waiting for my bolts to arrive so I can fit it no photos of it as of yet but when fitted I'll get some up Also got myself a new exhaust system as my other one was blowing. After being told it was a full stainless. Doesn't look stainless to me! lol.. so we got the car in the air to put it on. Went to get it fitted and I'm missing the final section of the exhaust the part that fits the centre to the backbox and I couldn't use the old flange and weld onto my old exhaust as its a different size. So unsure what I'm going to do about that now been told it's a japspeed exhaust if anyone has the rear section and perhaps a backbox?Well that's it for now. Will get more photos and such up as we get more done coilovers, cage and big break kit. Are the next purchases I believe Thanks guys, Bret. BJShipley
So got my bolts in the post today for my c pillar bar. Tried getting them in first of all what a pain in the ass the bar is. Second the bolts are to long lol does anyone know what size it is I need? And which way the bar actually sits? With the ends pointed downwards or sidewards. As in should it sit like this in the car. Greenstuff front pads should be here tomorrow and also ordered some genuine indiglo dials brand new and in packaging from Browner! Can't wait for those to arrive. In the mean time I'm keeping my eyes open for a cage and some coilovers preferably meister r's Thanks guys, Bret.
BJShipley
Anyone know about the c pillar bar bolt sizes at all?My pads have arrived and now I'm just waiting on my indiglo dials to arrive Also ordered these and came the next day from jdm-ep. BJShipley
Well the clocks are in! I couldn't wait for the drive home that night haha and would anyone know what this surround is or what it's from? Was told it was rare? And on the way home from work late at night! So much difference. Bright, clear and look awesome! Feel like I'm in a spaceship now haha :') This was before previous owner had changed the bulbs to red ones. And they were really dull and pretty shocking to read haha. So you can see the massive difference between both of them a great upgrade! Still so happy and well chuffed with them. Cheers Bret.
