shelly_star Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Hi guys, I currently have a Blitz decat in my 96 glanza, but it's a pain in the butt to pass it on MOT, especially down my way so don't even say "you don't need a cat for MOT". I was looking into the WickedEP sports cat, has anyone had any problems with this cat in general day to day and for MOT? Any problems fitting? I know WickedEP are top guys too. All opinions welcome. Kind Regards Quote

jimlols Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I haven't actually done this, but; have you considered buying a normal universal cat and getting a local exhaust place to weld some flanges in for you to bolt it in, get them to do the same to your exhaust and also make a decat out of the left over pipe. Or find a friendly MOT guy Quote
shelly_star Posted October 27, 2015 Author Posted October 27, 2015 So does anyone know if the wickedEP sports cat will pass UK MOT? Quote
Matt1878 Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 So does anyone know if the wickedEP sports cat will pass UK MOT?The best answer you will get is maybe... Sports cat's give no guarentee. Save yourself the hassle and find yourself a tester that is 'friendly' Quote
akyakapotter Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Yes my car has passed with a sports cat Quote
morgey Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 200cell should pass, 100cell race cat wont. Quote
shelly_star Posted October 27, 2015 Author Posted October 27, 2015 Because i don't wanna spend 135 on a sports wickedep cat and not pass, might consider putting the standard back in..... Quote
Matt1878 Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Surely it would only cost you a case or beer or just a little bung to someone to pass your car without a cat?.. I've not had a cat on any of my cars for the past 7 years Quote

I've not had a cat on any of my cars for the past 7 years it costs me a case of beer each time I just leave it in the boot 😉 Edited October 27, 2015 by Whitenoize Quote
