Walker96 Posted December 4, 2015 Author Posted December 4, 2015 Got an update...no pics though. Bought a turbo kit recently just waiting for it to turn up next week!!!...it's a ct9 turbo, top mount intercooler ect ect just need a downpipe and map sensor to finish it off which I'm still waiting for. Also bought some 5 peace optional extra matts which are awesome!! Fixed my bumper that used to sag down a little too. Turbo should be running before feb if all goes well! Got a huge parts list for 2016 as I'm wanting to go to nurburgring in 2017! anyway that's it for now...cheers:) Quote

Pikey009 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Awesome mate and brilliant vid really shows that a lot of it is down to driver ability. Def agree with you about sorting the handling first before adding more power- that's my plan. Quote

Pikey009 Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 What handling mods have you done? And what brakes? Mines still pretty much stock sr set up with front and rear strut braces so just collecting parts to fit all at once so I can get a laser set up. I'm hopfuly getting levin twin pots next month Quote

It handles really well, but defo need better tyres and more handling to make it even better:)Oh and the car had full interior too but will be stripped next time. adzy Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 My n/a was only lowered on 30mm springs and had Yokohama tyres and it handled unreal! Embarrassed many people on roundabouts lol Quote

Pikey009 Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 I'm wondering if something's wrong with mine then as it feels a little unpredictable and wayward. It's got apexi springs on instead of the tte's. The rear strut brace has helped a lot though. Got an anti lift kit sat in the garage and will be getting a rarb too. My tyres are pants and I bet the tracking out so that'll be why it feels a bit sloppy Quote

Pikey009 Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Really want to get it sorted but I want to get everything on it first as there's no point in getting it aligned to then get it done again Quote
ReeceGolliker Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 You need some AD08R's mate! They stick like glue and I've not even got coilovers haha Quote
Pikey009 Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 How much are they per corner mate? I had khumos on the gt4 and they were brilliant- didn't wear out too quickly either Quote
ReeceGolliker Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 I think about £70! And they're not bad in the wet too! Quote

Pikey009 Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 I'll see how they stack up price wise against the kumos as I havnt looked at prices yet but definitely an option Quote
