Lukee Posted January 25, 2015 Author Share Posted January 25, 2015 car is out of action again, screamer pipe melted through my bottom rad hose, put a new hose on & my rad has decided to leak majorly so new rad time it is, not sure how to get round the pipe not being in the way of the screamer though, if i heatwrap it, would it stop it melting through? its not touching just very close Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Lukee Posted February 22, 2015 Author Share Posted February 22, 2015 so ive not updated in a while, and fair to say ive got a suprise got my depo boost controller in, will be only functioning as a guage till mapping as im missing a banjo bolt so left the valve disconnected.so heres the plan... TD04 Old turbo coming out done me well! still mint.Nicked the flange of a crappy td04 mani, to weld onto my WEPR externally gated one HAD to keep the screamer! love it SH*T dont go N/A!Old tubby off New flange welded on and mated up (brothers welding didnt go to plan so will have to get new mani after mapping lol )Heatwrapped screamer whilst its off, so it doesnt melt through my rad hose again lolTADAAA new tubby sat in its rightful place got to connect everything up and modify the exhaust slightly as the ct9 mani doesnt branch out far enough for a td04 and the exhaust doesnt connect right but not to worry for now more updates later on! Lukee Posted February 22, 2015 Author Share Posted February 22, 2015 Got the lines all connected up Had to modify the exhaust to fit td04 where the ct9 manifold didnt come out enough Mating it up Slimline fan and Toyosports half rad going in much better then a civic half rad!All done and running fine Turbo meshed & sitting in its new home!Car is currently unusable however, i went to drive it out of the garden and down the alleyway, all of a sudden the car started jumping up and down lol turns out the exhaust was made at the wrong angle and pointed too far down and just sits on the floor, so will have to fix that tomorrrow.there is also a blow from where the td04 flange was welded on but ill have to buy a new mani next month so thats okay , cannot wait to get this mapped and enjoy semi big power!
